Our original company, Ye Olde Wood Peddler, provided custom wood name cutouts made on an antique scroll saw from the 1890s. We used all manual woodworking equipment and created an apprenticeship wood working program for teenagers in San Diego. Our woodworking skills were seen by a team at Sea World San Diego and we were invited to open a store in the theme park.  Our team of skilled wood workers worked 18 hours days from Memorial Day to Labor Day -using only manual antique equipment. For 8 years, we made thousands of wood names for tourists around the world.  

After our 8 year run at Sea World San Diego, we opened our first website, www.AmericanGiftMall.com, housing all of our personalized gifts.  With the addition of state of the art laser engraving machines, we are able to make gifts "the old fashioned way" as well as add a unique personalized touch.

We engrave and cut wood, plastic, mat board, paper, cork, anodized metal, glass, fabric, etc.  As we create new items, we add them to our website, so come back regularly.
